AlpacaWorks and Sagebrush Alpacas co-host IAN WATT (past president of the Australian Alpaca Association and publisher of the International Alpaca Book) as he brings an international perspective (coming from the truly fleece oriented alpaca market of Australia). Ian will discuss how fiber is formed, how it grows, the effect of the environment and region, animal management, assessing conformation and fleece, owning sires, breeding decisions for ultimate fiber outcomes and everything in between. Come prepared to be stimulated and challenged in your ideas.
